Why “HARIALI ORGANIC SULPHUR” is more effective?


- Sulphur deficiency symptoms in many ways resemble with Nitrogen deficiency i.e., the leaves become pale-yellow or light-green. Unlike Nitrogen, Sulphur deficiency symptoms appear first on the younger leaves, and persist even after Nitrogen application. In cotton, tobacco and citrus, some of the older leaves are affected first.
- Plants deficient in Sulphur are small and spindly with short and slender stalks, their growth is retarded, maturity in cereals is delayed, nodulation in legumes may be poor and Nitrogen fixation reduced, fruits often do not mature fully and remain light-green in color, forages contain undesirably wide Nitrogen : Sulphur ratio and thus have lower nutritive value.
- When Sulphur deficiency symptoms have been confirmed, soil application through a material containing readily available Sulphur should be applied. For quicker results, liquid applications are also advisable to protect the Crop from the Sulphur deficiency.
- Whenever the Sulphur presence in growing plants drops below the critical level required, visual symptoms of Sulphur deficiency start appearing on the plant. The appearance of such symptoms indicates a serious condition because crop yields can decrease even without the appearance of such symptoms.

Why “HARIALI ORGANIC SULPHUR” is more effective?
Sulphur is essential for the growth and development of all crops. Most of the plants’ requirement of Sulphur is absorbed through the roots in the sulphate (SO4-2) form. Like any essential nutrient, Sulphur also has certain specific roles to play in the plants. Such roles cannot be replaced by any other nutrient. That is why Totally Bio available & absorbable Organic Sulphur is introduced to meet & correct deficiencies of Sulphur for all crops.


- Protein production primarily as it is a constituent of the three main amino acids (cysteine, cystine and methionine), which are the building blocks of protein. About 90% of plant sulphur is present in these amino acids.
- Formation of chlorophyll, the green substance in leaves and other above ground plant parts which permit photosynthesis. Plants produce starch, sugar, oils, fats, vitamins and other vital compounds through photosynthesis.
- Synthesis of oils. This is why adequate sulphur is so crucial for oilseeds.
- Activation of enzymes which act as catalysts in biochemical reactions within the plant.
- Bio Sulphur increases crop yields and improves produce quality, both are important for determining the market price a farmer would get for his produce.
- Specifically with reference to quality, Sulphur improves oil percentage in seeds, plant protein content, cereal quality for milling and baking, marketability of copra, quality of tobacco, forages etc.
- Bio Sulphur Granules are slow release but will show its effect on all crops from THIRD DAY onwards and will be effective for 22-25 days from the date of application and is totally Bio available (totally absorbable) to all crops whereas traditionally available Sulphur based formulations are having limitations in terms of its effect and also its bio availability (only 15-18%) for all crops. Therefore BIO SULPHUR is designed with 25-27% totally absorbable Sulphur for effective applications.
